For the 2008 / 2009 EWIS is seeking qualified teachers for the following classes:-
Elementary Teachers – full time position, Monday – Friday 7:00 – 3:00pm.
Trained teachers are required. Students will continue to build on the Zoo-phonics that have been taught in previous years. A bilingual teaching environment is offered. The teacher will teach in English and will need to work co-operatively with a Cambodian assistant. English Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies and Science all will be taught in a child-centered way that factors in the developmental level of the students. Teachers who can differentiate the curriculum will do very well.
All teachers need to agree with the Vision statement of the school and work will the school in a co-operative way to help us provide the students with the best education we can.
The students are mainly, but not exclusively, Cambodian.
