Oraganizational Structure

The funding for East-West comes solely from tuition fees. We have a commitment for these to be as low as possible as we want to provide the best education for as many children as we can.

East-West makes policy decisions based on educational principles.

The school is owned by a Cambodia businessman who is very supportive of the way the school operates. He provides advice and assistance about culture and structures etc. He leaves the educational decisions to the educationalists.

• The school principal is principal of the whole school – Nursery through to Grade 9 in 2011.
• The Early Childhood Coordinator is responsible for curriculum, scope and sequence and teaching training for Nursery – Kindergarten.
• The Primary School Coordinator is responsible for scope and sequence and curriculum review in Grades 2 – 5.
• Grades 6 – 9 have a board of teachers chaired by the principal.
• Grades 9 and 10 has an IGCSE Coordinator.
• The School Coordinator among other responsibilities is responsible for the Khmer Language Program.
• The School Counsellor is developing an affective education program for the entire school. The emphasis is to help children understand themselves and others and relationships. Our program incorporates our school goals.
