INTERNATIONAL GENERAL CERTIFICATE OF SECONDARY EDUCATION

East-West has been accepted by Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) as an examination and tuition centre for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE).

IGCSE has grown to an annual candidate entry of over 100,000 students.

It provides a two-year curriculum programme, primarily for 14 to 16 year olds, and is appropriate for students of a wide range of abilities. The resulting qualification is equivalent in standard to the English GCSE and the International GCE O Level. IGCSE provides a foundation for higher-level courses such as the English A and AS Levels, the Advanced International Certificate of Education(AICE) Diploma, the Cambridge Pre-University, the North American Advanced Placement Test and the International Baccalaureate Diploma.

IGCSE is a two year course which we will start in Year 9. The examinations will be held in June of Year 10.

At East-West we will offer :

Our Cambodian students will study Khmer and will sit the Cambodian Grade 9 exams.
