AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
STUDENTS
After school activities are offered on two afternoons a week - Monday and Tuesday from 2:30pm to 3:30pm. There are a range of activities including swimming, gymnastics, basketball, homework help, Khmer language, chess. These activities are taken by our class room teachers and our assistants.
We also offer Chinese Language from 2:30pm - 3:30pm Monday to Friday.
After school activities are paid for by the parents in addition to the tuition fee
PARENTS and OTHER ADULTS
In the 2009 / 2010 we will offer after school classes for parents. Some of these classes can be taken with their children. They will include English and Khmer language classes; swimming classes; Science class; cooking classes; music. These will probably operate on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons unless there is enough interest in learning language for that to be 5 afternoons a week.
We hope to teach adults in the same ways we teach the children so that they not only learn but understand what happens within the classrooms.
These classes will be paid for by those taking the classes
