ACCREDITATION WITH WASC-

The Western Association of Schools and Colleges

EXTERNAL ACCREDITATION

For the school's credibility external accreditation is essential.

The Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) is one of the major international accrediting bodies.

1. In February, 2009 we applied to the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

2. In May, 2009 we heard that our application was accepted.

3. The Association will send a team in either September, 2009

or November 2009 to view the school, the programs that we

have in place, our school wide learning expectations, our

facilities, teachers and administration.

The WASC Association believes that the goal of any school is to provide successful student learning. WASC gives endorsement to schools that are considered quality schools

As far as we know there are three other schools in Cambodia that have been granted accreditation with WASC. They are The

International School of Phnom Penh (ISPP), Northbridge International School (NISC) and Logos School.
